Seaweed for food & drink

Our applications

Incorporating seaweeds into foods offers a range of benefits for both taste and nutrition. Seaweeds are nutrient-dense, containing essential vitamins (including B12), minerals (calcium, iron, iodine) and dietary fibres. They contribute a unique umami flavour, enhancing the taste profile of dishes.

Seaweeds also contain plant based protein and omega 3 fatty acids, making them a valuable addition for vegans and vegetarians and for the growing plant-based seafood sector. Their high fibre content promotes digestive health. Moreover there is increasing evidence to suggest that they may help regulate blood sugar levels, possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, support heart health and reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
