Upon request

Part of the red seaweed group, laver thrives in shallow cold and temperate seas and can extend its range up into the splash zone on exposed coasts. It grows as a thin sheet and there a wide variety of species that are almost impossible to tell apart. A handful of species are cultivated in Asia to produce sheets of nori and so the Japanese name is often used in Europe.

Typical uses

Great for a range of food applications, especially as a seasoning or within blends.
